What is an implant?
A medical grade titanium implant is used to replace a missing tooth in the upper or lower jaw. They can replace a single tooth or the entire arch of lost/missing teeth, depending on the quality and volume of bone.

How Much Bone is needed?
Depending on where the implant needs to be placed, missing or poor quality bone can be surgically enhanced by a process called "grafting' or "bone augmentation". Your consulting doctor can explain the process.
Can Anyone have an Implant?
It depends on your medical condition and overall health. Smoking or diabetes can significantly alter the results of a successful implant procedure. Your dentist can evaluate and discuss this further.
