Are implants covered by insurance?

In some cases, yes! Dental insurance providers are beginning to see the benefits of dental implants. In the case of accident or trauma, most companies will pay for implants, if there is no other treatment modality that will result in a full restoration of the traumatized dentition.

Other plans may not pay for the actual implant placed into the bone, but will pay for the dental crown that will go on top of the implant.
